PROJECT INFORMATION

Windsor Oaks Elementary School was completed in June of 2008, ahead of schedule. The building was constructed alongside the former building, while it remained operational. At the conclusion of construction, the former building was demolished and turned into athletic and parking facilities. This 86,000 square foot building was originally designed to achieve LEED Certified, but by maximizing the recycled waste stream and the building’s regional content credit, BGI was able to achieve two additional points – pushing the project to LEED Silver.
